Class Structure

When a student is accepted to the academy, he or she is given four private, one hour classes. You will be taught the very basic techniques of meditation, breathing, warm-up exercises, self-defense and attacks (blocks, punches and kicks), and proper school etiquette.

After four private classes the student is encouraged to attend three ninety minute classes a week consisting of:

  1.  5 minutes Meditating--preparing the mind for training.
  2. 30 minutes Warm-up and body conditioning.
  3. 50 minutes Formal Tang Soo Do training (punching, blocking, kicking, forms, etc.)
  4.  5 minutes Meditating--to lock in the lessons of the day.
